Founded on 13th April 2021, Jaavisa was born out of passion and purpose. While working at a well-paid MNC job, our founder carried a lifelong dream of starting a business. Being deeply fond of wearing Punjabi juttis and belonging to Punjab, the very hub of this traditional footwear, an idea sparked. Why not preserve and promote this beautiful, fading art?
What started as a humble journey with Punjabi juttis soon grew into a wider collection, including stylish flats. With time, Jaavisa evolved but remained true to its roots: bringing tradition, comfort, and elegance together.
The name Jaavisa is derived from Aavisa, meaning “King of the Sky.” Just like the sky knows no limits, our vision is to expand into showcasing art forms from across India, uniting diverse crafts under one roof.
